Nelson Mirei
After graduating from Musashino Art University, they have worked as a sock designer, designer and illustrator, creating illustrations and works from motifs that spark their own curiosity — line drawings, acrylic paintings and sculpture, made in a spirit of research. In 2021 they launched their own sock brand, “Bobby.sox”, sharing the results of years of research into Japanese sock-making and expressing themselves through the pieces they create. Lives in Tokyo. Planned to be based in the UK from 2022.
